Sometimes the things you aren't looking to buy are the best things to get because they are unexpected sweet finds, hence why I have a page called Sweet Finds. I love to go window shopping every now and then to see what's out there in stores worth my money. Everything that I will be talking about in this post was a random purchase & nothing I was looking for but things I stumbled upon. I also love window shopping because it get's me trying on things & seeing which store has a better kind of whatever I'm looking for because then when I have money I just go and purchase it. This way I don't need to try it out, plus I have time to think about if I really want what I've seen & if it will be put to use or will be worn.

The venti Starbucks cold cup was the best I found when I went on the mission for a new cold cup, which had me going to three different Starbucks locations. I wanted to get back to drinking water on a daily basis & you know cute water bottles/cups make you want to drink water more. Between all the Starbucks stores I went to & the cold cups on sale that I found, this was the nicest & the only 24oz one that I found. Who wants anything smaller than a venti?
This bodysuit was just meant to be, fate. I had seen this maybe like 4 months ago & desperately wanted it but it was just out of my budget plus I wasn't really feeling the burnt orange colour they had at the time. One day, when I was just on a window shopping day through the mall, I walked into Guess to see what they had & behold there was a sale going on and you'll never guess but that bodysuit was there! Not only was the bodysuit on sale but there were more colours than I had seen the first time around: navy blue, white & that pink I ended up getting. Navy blue is always the colour I go for when buying clothes so I decided to go for something different, plus it didn't look as nice as the pink did. White I can never buy because I'm kind of a slob & get food & makeup all over my clothes so white would have to be bleached every time I wore it.
My friend from Toronto was in Ottawa & while me and her brother were waiting for her rideshare we were wandering through the mall & he wanted to find some face masks for himself. We ended up at The Face Shop that had a deal where if you bought 10 masks, you got 5 for free so he got a whole bunch & told me & his sister to grab some. I usually don't put ANYTHING on my face because I'm super sensitive but I decided to try them out because there were some that the associate said would be good for my skin so I got Aloe, Calendula & a soothing face one.
I LOVE switching up my phone cases every now & then because I get bored & need something new so I'm always on the hunt for a new one & when they are less than $20, it's more of a reason to get it. I have been on a hunt for a rubber one because I desperately miss my red Nueva York case I had for my iPhone 5s but now that I upgraded to the 6s, I needed a new one. So I checked out Aritzia & they did it again having another cute rubber one for $13. Those are the best too because I can put my bus pass behind there & easily take it out without having to take off my whole case.
I have ALWAYS wanted a pair of hoop earrings so when I was in Aldo Accessories with my cousin who was looking for some accessories- since we were going to Toronto - I stumbled upon this beautiful pair and I said it's about time that I get me some & stop always going for the safe option: studs. They have been my go to earrings since I got them & always want to be wearing them. I may even be getting another pair that are more sturdy because these ones are kinda flimsy.
This colour is a crazy colour that I originally would never go for but sometimes you need to just try something new & I was so over buying the same shade just a bit lighter or darker. One day I was just at MAC with my makeup obsessed cousin & decided to swatch funky colours that I would never buy & chose one that I would wear for the rest of the day. Young Attitude is a navy blue/forest green colour & so bold & out there. I left the Mac store to walk over to the apple store to check my phone in & people were staring & I was wondering what was on my face until I realized that I was wearing a pretty out there colour. I ended up taking this picture & the longer I looked at it, the more the colour grew on me & the need to have it was stronger. Looking forward to wearing it more!
Those are my most recent purchases & I hope to stumble upon some other great things because I have been cleaning out my closet of clothes that I do not wear & want to clean out my makeup bag as well.
